As technology continues to advance and become an integral part of our daily lives, it is important to examine the role of women in this industry. Despite making up half of the global population, women are still underrepresented in the tech field. This lack of diversity not only impacts the representation of women in tech, but it also has real consequences for the products and services created. When women are not included in the development process, it can lead to a lack of representation and understanding of their needs and experiences. This can result in products that are not tailored to the diverse needs of women and can even perpetuate harmful stereotypes.
Overcoming the gender gap in tech
At QisstPay, we fully empower the representation of women. We want to bring in the change, where they are female role models in the tech industry. Being an equal opportunity employer in breaking the stereotypes and challenging the idea that the technology industry is only for men. We have a strong arsenal of women who make a difference at QisstPay. On today’s article, meet our teammate Qurat-Ul-Ain. Who orginally belongs from Sukkur, and made the decision to move to the capital to pursue her career. As Sukkur is a city with very limited career opportunities, especially for women in tech field. Qurat went against all odds and started her journey with us. Irrespective of being a roll coaster ride, Qurat completed her education from FAST and started her job hunt, which was again a very challenging task because women had fewer job opportunities than men. Finally, her job hunt came to an end when Qurat ended up at QisstPay. QisstPay facilitated her with all the right skills, culture and motivation. Qurat is a valuable asset in the tech team. We serve the idea by fostering a more inclusive and diverse tech industry, so we create products and services that better serve the needs and experiences of all people, not just limited to one group of people. We asked some fun questions from Qurat and here is what she had to say:
